I came up with this idea while cleaning my Shell Toe (Superstar) Adidas and watching Sport Center. It was so obvious to me that "earning your stripes" would be a theme for any athlete. So while looking at various sports, I realized that every sport has stripes. I took it several steps further and looked at other elements, like gym bars. I then hand made the bars and added theme to the layout as to say that Adidas represents a certain level of achievement and training.
